I spent last weekend at the Pleasant Street Inn, a B+B in Rangeley Maine. If you haven’t been to this extraordinarily beautiful town it’s well worth the 2.5 hour trip from Portland. The inn is large and roomy, filled with art and antiques. Rob and Jan Welch are the perfect hosts, and Rob whips up a delicious breakfast. Complimentary wine and snacks are available, and the rooms are airy, light-filled and pristinely clean. Rooms all have sleep number beds, providing a wonderful night’s sleep.
